Age of Empires IV:
THE DANES

The Danes represent an amalgamation of the various Norse settlers and their Viking conquests from Iceland to Sicily around the 10th century, up through the Christianization of Scandinavia and the formation of the Kalmar Union of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, which held until the 16th century. They are one of the most requested factions to be added to AOEIV, because, well, Vikings! In this concept the Danes have a unique "Saga" mechanic, which allows them to complete quests to gain special bonuses. Also, their access to powerful infantry, including Huskarls and Berserkers, give them a big raiding advantage early on.
